Emerson’s Conception of Nature: Or, Some Historical Elements of Our Unitarian Universalist Identity

Shawn Loht

What does it mean to be a Unitarian Universalist? Ralph Waldo Emerson is one of the ancestors of our practice’s identity. Instead, nature is our most important guide for finding the divine and the meaning of life.
